VIVE Academy is on a mission to reverse diet-related disease and sickness, improve community health and promote sustainable agriculture systems that revive intuition, aptitude and health consciousness. In VIVE, we apply a comprehensive and systematic approach to address the root causes of poor health by identifying and meeting the basic needs of the human design that reside in the cultivation of one’s relationship with self, community and agrarian traditions.
In 2015, VIVE ACADEMY started working with individuals, nonprofits, and medical groups to freely offer an integrative health process, exercise classes, nutritional guidance and easy access to plant-based meals to battle the obesity and health epidemic in Tennessee’s youth and adults.
Connection is health. And what our society does its best to disguise from us is how ordinary, how commonly attainable, health is. We lose our health - and create profitable diseases and dependences - by failing to see the direct connections between living and eating, eating and working, working and loving. In gardening, for instance, one works with the body to feed the body. The work, if it is knowledgeable, makes for excellent food. And it makes one hungry. The work thus makes eating both nourishing and joyful, not consumptive, and keeps the eater from getting fat and weak. This is health, wholeness, a source of delight." - Wendell Berry
VIVE Academy is on the MOVE to Give our time, talents and truth to encourage innovation, integration, education and imagination. VIVE Academy’s newest location at Dellrose Farms creates limitless opportunities to rebuild the foundation and infrastructure needed to transform health, preserve our agricultural heritage and encourage local entrepreneurship. Vive Academy's rural business incubator connects the dots to promote sustainable agricultural practices, food security and continued economic, community and human development.
In VIVE, we apply a comprehensive and systematic approach to address the root causes of poor health by identifying and meeting the basic needs of the human design that reside in the cultivation and restoration of one’s relationship with self, community and agrarian traditions.

Vive Academy works on many levels to prevent, reverse and treat diet-related disease and sickness. Participants have seen a significant improvement in their health. Other than lowering obesity, blood pressure, and depression rates, Vive has helped participants restore a health practice that is easy and sustainable, and that nourishes their relationships with their bodies, neighbor, community and land.
Health transformation requires presence, participation and community. Participate in workshops, classes and on site training. VIVE offers many unique opportunities to learn the basics of health, human design and the sustainable processes needed to make the journey from farm to table.
